Description
Offered here is an original 1955 copy of "Volume 2" by Miles Davis (Blue Note BLP-1502 Mono). This is THE rarest version and TRUE 1st pressing with "161 Lexington Ave" on the label.
The vinyl is far from perfect, and has many scratches and scuffs on both sides. Despite this, the record plays through rather well with no skips and very few pops. There is crackling throughout (heavier at times, lighter at times) but overall, it's a very reasonable copy for the casual listener. Based on Goldmine standards, the vinyl grades G+/VG-. The cover exhibits reasonable wear, with an 85% bottom seam split and some writing on the back cover (see photos). Overall, the cover displays well and similarly grades G+/VG-. This record is truly iconic and is a MUST have for any jazz collector.
PayPal is required and shipping is $4. I will gladly combine shipping at $1 for each additional record purchased.
