Description

This is the original deep groove mono pressing of Miles Davis “Miles Ahead” on the six-eye labels of Columbia CL 1041.  The playing surface is virtually in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The original frame “sailboat” cover is also in near-new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – with sharp corners and unworn seams.  Columbia inner sleeve is included.  This is one of Miles’ outstanding collaborations with the Gil Evans Orch.  $100.00
