Miles Davis  'Volume 2'  BLUE NOTE BLP 1502 (USA) Lexington address on side 1. On side 2 has 47W 63rd address and on bottom back coveralso 47W 63rd - has the deep groove - on trail off (dead wax) has printed 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder and has the 'ear' - rec. in May 1952, April 1953 and March 1954 - issued in 1955 Cover is autographed on front by Miles Davis with a black marker and on back by Percy Heath   I acquired some records autographed by Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, John Lewis, Percy Heath, Milt Jackson that I will offer in Ebay auctions in the next two weeks

Johnson : trombone - Jackie McLean : alto sax or Jimmy Heath : tenor sax - Gil Coggins or Horace Silver : piano - Percy Heath or Oscar Pettiford : bass - Art Blakey or Kenny Clarke : drums Side 1 Take off (M.Davis) - Weirdo (M.Davis) - Wouldn' you (Gillespie) - I waited for you (W.Fuller) - Ray's idea (Fuller-Brown) - Donna (McLean) Side 2 : Well you needn't (Monk) - The leap (M.Davis) - Lazy Susan (M.Davis) - Tempus fugit (Bud Powell) - It never entered my mind (Rodgers-Hart)   Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has some  light unfeelable surface marks on both sides and some tiny shadows on side 1. Clean labels with light spindle wear. On top of both labels has a Biem sticker   Playing grading : record is VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound. Has a light occasional background noise and light crackling mostly audible in a few quieter parts Cover grading : cover is VG- has wear to corners, edges and to spine which has been repaired for a long split. Also bottom right corner has been repaired for a seam split. Light ringwear on front and light rubbing on back. Also a light stain on top of back Cover is autographed on front by Miles Davis with a black marker and on back by Percy Heath
