Description
This is part of a smaller auction of all higher end records of mixed genres with starting bids of just $5. There's some really cool stuff here just doesn't often come up for auction including free jazz, small press indie, 90's alternative and more.
Artist: Milton Zapata
Album: Viva Zapata
Description: Tan label first pressing. This is the only record released by Zapata, who was of Puerto Rican descent. It was released on the small, but awesome Speed Records label which specialized in Latin Soul in the the late 1960's. Great Latin funk here, full of big sounds and lots of breaks. Zapata's percussion work is stellar.
Vinyl Condition: VG, vinyl looks clean and shiny. There are a handful of scattered small marks. They cause some light cracking in B1, but the record plays great overall. Labels are very clean with no tears, writing, stickers, etc.
Sleeve Condition: VG, primary cover graphic looks good, but there is some scuffing and general edge wear. There are no splits or tears, but there is some tape and a old "$1.50" sticker. Back looks okay as well with some scuffing, but no major damage.
