Description
Charlie Mingus
AH UM -
Columbia CS-8171 – Late Pressing - TAS
From perhaps the world's finest bassist comes one of his absolute best albums, AH UM.
Long recognized on the TAS list as one of the finest recordings in the jazz category, it is a conceptual amalgam you won't soon forget. Just one listen to the title cut AH UM will give you clear warning; though, if I were you, try PORK PIE HAT first. THIS is a musical mind at work, yes indeedy. Way cool.
Fabulous stuff, here in a cover without major fault; within, is a late press platter that will play NM to VG+.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $5, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
