Meteor Records of Memphis, Tennessee- 1956 BLUES

Minnie Thomas with Slim Waters’ Lagoons “I Know What You Need”/“What Can The Matter Be?” The label was owned by Lester Bihari, of the family that owned Modern/RPM/Kent/Crown Records in California. Minnie Thomas made one record for Meteor and later recorded for Mark-IV.

This is the nicest copy of this rare Meteor blues release I’ve personally come across. It grades in Very Good Plus condition (VG+) and was in the collection of a Massachusetts disc jockey who recently died.
