No Ebay in the last 2-4 months.
The vinyl is Mint- , played maybe 2-3 time, with one or two spindle lines..
The cover is VG+ with some H2O damage on the bottom half. More visible on the back cover.
A great album the very rare Candid lable. This LP features Jaki Byard,, Ron Carter and Charlie Persip.
This LP features the original Ellis composition the 22:07 “Improvisational Suite #1”, plus 4 other tracks, Ellis’s “How Time Passes” “Sallie” and “A Simplex one”; and the Jaki Byard original “Waste”.
The year after he recorded this gem, he was signed to Prestige Records Prestige / New Jazz Records. In 1961 he released The Don Ellis Quintet LP "New Ideas" on NJ 8257.

Vinyl is very playable and will play through, good luster. Probably some noise between tracks, maybe in quiet passages.
