Description
Mischa Elman Violin & Piano Recital with Joseph Seiger accompanist on (correct for the year) 1957 Decca orange and silver pancake grooved labels LXT 5303. Curved cut flip back fully laminated sleeve, this is a rare one. He plays Sammartini, Vitali, Bach and Handel. The musicianship here is sublime.
Condition to this is around excellent, with a few light stylus marks to the playing surfaces, not sounding much, given that no fifties lp's play silently anyway. After a careful listen and comparison, plays as good as an unmarked one, with clean labels as seen in the pics.
In an excellent sleeve.
