Misfits" "4 Hits From Hell"
Continuing the liquidation of my old record collection from back in the day. First to start to go are some of the records I've most prized over the years. My Misfits Collection. Everything they had plus some boots that didn't actually come from them but if you hunted around enough stores in the Village you found the boots you needed when you couldn't find the originals.
Going in the coming months will be every record the Misfits put out in their glorious career. Except the original, "Cough Cool." That I only have a boot of.
If I have to explain who the Misfits were or their place in punk history then you aren't bidding on this item anyway so I'll save the keystrokes. Suffice it to say that Glenn, Jerry and the boys were originals. Their music was incredible and I listen to it to this day. 50s melodies. Sing along choruses. But still punk. If they reunited -- I mean really reunited with Glenn, they're the one band I would probably sell my car so I could raise to cash to see...enough said. Their like will never pass this way again....
"4 Hits from Hell." Obviously not an official release but one of the cooler unofficial releases I bought. And coincidentally it was the first ever Misfits record I purchased..."Where Eagles Dare," "Vampira," " Ghouls Night Out," "Skulls..." 500 copies printed, this is #224. Cheap cover/sleeve which has some creases and ringing but nothing bad....marble colored wax...pretty cool
