Description
Here we have a Misfits-Walk among us Lp. This is the nearly impossible to find Italian press with the dark pink sky known as the third press
This is the rarest of all "Walk among us" pressings with the tan Slash labels released in 1982 by Expanded Music Records, Bolognia (EX 32) with Plan 9 logo on the back of the cover
Matrix reads on side A: JRR-804-A and L-8564. On side B: JRR-804-B and L-8564-X
It has the legendary "The Misfit" instead of "The Misfits" ERROR on spine
It has the original non-glossy inner sleeve with band photos and lyrics which is thicker than the glossy sleeves of the 1st and 2nd U.S. pressings
This is an ORIGINAL press from 1982, NOT the Primiero Mundo portoguese repress made after 2000!!!
Vinyl is graded very close to near mint (NM-) condition.
(I know there is no NM- Goldmine standard but in my eyes it is impossible to grade a 24 years old record really near mint and this one is better than EX)
Really clean copy, really glossy. Only few light marks, hairlines, no fingerprints, no skips, pops, etc. (tested with a Denon DL-103 R MC-system) Nothing that could affect playing.
Cover is in excellent (EX) condition
The front looks really clean, without any ringwear or wrinkles, it has no seam splits in the bindings but shows only slight wear on the corners.
Due to its age the back of the cover shows some wear The black color, mainly on the lower left side has faded out, looks like ringwear (It is not too curious but i have to mention it)
As you know the U.S. covers have a more glossy black on the back but this one came out with a more flat black. It has some price-sticker residue on the upper right side, maybe it is removable. (See scans)
Inner sleeve is in excellent condition (has very minor breaks on the lower side in the binding)
I tried to grade it conservatively with best intentions. I collect records for more than fifteen years. I´m no professional record dealer
Good luck to you to find another copy of this must-have all-time classic. Could take a while to find another one.
