Mississippi Fred McDowell US Reissue LP Delta Blues NM '66 Arhoolie F1021


US Reissue LP released in 1966 on Arhoolie Records. Cat: F-1021.
A giant of country blues with powerful bottleneck guitar skills who labored in obscurity until he was discovered in the late '50s.

 Tracks : Write me a few lines/ Louise/ I heard somebody call/ 61 highway/ Mamam don't allow me/ Kokomo blues/ Fred's worried life blues/ You gonna be sorry/ Shake 'em on down/ My trouble blues/ Black Minnie/ That's alright/ When I lay my burden down.

  There are a few  light spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover has a small sticker stain on top right corner, some light marks and minor scuffing on corners and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
