Description

After a few months since my last auctions I am back with a few more offerings, some rare and some not so rare. Here is an original US stereo pressing of Moby Grape's 1st LP featuring the infamous " finger" cover and poster in beautiful  NM condition. To begin with, in thirty years of buying and selling records (Goldmine in the 80's and 90's) this is definitely one of the finest copies I have seen, and I have seen several. The early Columbia red 360 sound labels (lighter in color and have a more "flat" appearance than the later 360 sound labels) are perfect, not a mark or single spindle trail to be found and the vinyl is equally impressive. Under bright light I could not even find the smallest of hairlines or sleeve scuffs, it appears flawless with full gloss and play grades the same. The jacket grades a solid NM-, if it wasn't for the slightest trace of wear on the top and bottom of the front, it would look new. The back cover has no wear, shows 2 small corner bumps (cannot be see on front cover) and looks superb. The seams look next to new and the perfectly centered spine is just as nice. Posterwise, it looks like it was manufactured yesterday, no wear, creasing, pinholes or anything. All in all an outstanding package of one of the finest records to come out of the sixties, satisfaction guaranteed. Do not let this one get away! ps. it even has the original tear strip baggie which will also be included.
