For me the Ivy League are one the bands who never got the credit they deserved. Perfect vocals, great backing music. Listen to The Holly And The Ivy League (great guitars!) – this is the stuff the Electric Prunes would plagiarize for Mass in F-Minor. If Fairport Convention had issued this EP - okay, minus Silent Night which is crap - in 1972, the critics would have gone over the top with their praise.
