Description
Hi there once again eBayers! Here I have a sensational collection of two Models LP's, being 'Local &/Or General' and 'AlphaBravoCharlieDeltaEchoFoxtrotGolf' as well as all sorts of very rare media paraphernalia including Photograph, Press Releases, Bios, mini 'alphabravo' magazine and all sorts of interesting items of the likes!
This package is part of a collection from a gentleman who booked bands in the late 1970's and early 1980's in the Geelong region, mostly for the Waurn Ponds Hotel on the Princes Highway heading out of Geelong. (The hotel still exists, but is now a pokies barn.)
In booking the bands, he kept almost all the promotional materials he received. This included records, posters, photos, press releases, biogs and other ephemera. Some of the posters were unused and some had the date, time and venue hand written on them. Some of the press releases have his hand written notes on them, and some of the biogs and photos have been cut up for use in promoting the bands. Many of the bands were icons of the Australian pub rock scene, including Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, The Sports, Jo Jo Zep, Paul Kelly, The Models, The Church, plus many lesser known bands and artists, though many are familiar.
This collection is almost certainly a one off - items like these will not become available again.
As you can see, all items are in used, but still in relatively good condition.
Local &/Or General - Sleeve has some light general wear, mostly around the edges but still good condition, as does the inner sleeve. The record its self is in good condition with very little to no scratching or damage!
AlphaBravoCharlieDeltaEchoFoxtrotGolf - Again, sleeve has some light general wear, mostly around the edges, and again with the inner sleeve but still good condition. The record is in very good condition, wouldn't be surprised if never played before!
The additional A4 paper documents (total of 11 pages) are all structurally intact, with some general wear and light staining/fading from age, all still very legible nonetheless!
The photograph measures approximately 250mm x 200mm and is in good condition (less the marker features, as you can see) with some very very light scratching and two pinholes on the bottom left hand corner.
The mini magazine is in good condition, with some very minor wear around the edges, and the smaller cardboard (an invitation to 'ACE Presents XTC, Magazine, Flowers and Models at Festival Hall') is slightly stained and has some sort of mathematical calculations written on the back.
