Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West - OOP Vinyl 2xLP - Up Records 1997
If you're looking at this auction, you know what you're looking at. I bought this record new in 1997 when I worked in a record store, and I've played it less than 5 times, and really have only ever played side A - we had a cassette copy of this that made it into my car, and that's where I mostly listened to it.
Vinyl is VG+++ - only has some very slight paper scuffing from the sleeves. Plays beautifully. I would rate it NM but there's always that guy out there who will file some stupid claim because it's actually been played. Don't be that guy. This record sounds great. NM is not far off.
Jackets are VG++ - It's in great condition. The top of one of the records has a little bit of scuffing. Pointed out in a picture. It's not a seam split. It's just the result of being moved. For all I remember it came like that in the box it was shipped in to the record store.
Inner Sleeves are VG+++ - no splits, no tears, nothing. Look great. Just normal wear from being removed from the record Jacket a couple of times.
This record will be sent with tracking and insurance for the full amount at my cost. That's right. Free Shipping. The records will be removed from the jackets to prevent seam damage, all will be bubble wrapped, then put between two cardboard stiffeners, and then put in a secure mailer. I have lots of experience packing and shipping records. It will be safe, secure, and insured. I want you to receive this record in the exact condition it's in when it leaves my house. (Please note, while Ebay is making me use my US postcode for this listing for some reason - this item will be shipped from my home in Japan via EMS services, which take about 5 - 10 days to the US, and generally most of the rest of the world - the Japanese Post Office is great. Your domestic postal service may vary.)
Auction starting price is based on what the previous half dozen or so have sold for, BIN price is based on being less than what that other guys BIN price is (and mine is in nicer shape and has free shipping.)
