Description

“Under the Bamboo Tree” was composed in 1903 and, thus, was included in the 1944 Garland film, Meet Me in St. Louis about the Smith family and the St. Louis World’s Fair.  Here’s the chance to hear how the might have sounded on the Smith’s talking machine.  Arthur Collins sings this classic song on this one-sided Monarch which has the “His Master’s Voice” logo.  Plays well.  Condition E--
