Rare OZ Limited Edition Promo LP plus bonus red vinyl 45" released in 1982 on Red Records. Cat: L37890. This album has a gatefold sleeve.This record is part of a recent collection bought from a Festival Records Rep. Stunning condition, many never played….
The Monitors were established in 1980 as a studio project by Terry McCarthy on vocals and keyboards, and Mark Moffatt on guitar, bass guitar and keyboards. McCarthy was an advertising director and Moffatt had worked as a musician in various groups before turning to production work. One of Moffatt's groups, Tonnage, from 1975 was renamed, Carol Lloyd Band with Moffatt on lead guitar and pedal steel guitar, Lloyd on lead vocals and percussion (ex-Railroad Gin), Gary Broadhurst on bass guitar, Peter Harvey on keyboards, and Danny Simpson on drums. He left that group in 1976.
Tracks: Who did you think it was?/ Having you around me/ What’s the matter with that ?/ Queen of the universe/ Midnight club/ Thinking it over/ Guts/ T.V. song/ 80’s reprise/ Wishful thinking. Bonus 45” tracks: Singing in the 80’s/ Nobody told me.
There are no signs of spindle marks on labels. Record and 45” are stunning only played once by me to check quality and in Near Mint condition. Cover is like new and in Near Mint condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
