As Long As There Is You / It`ll Never Be Over For Me.
Original UK 1969 Liberty 7" Single LBF 15182.
A holy grail of the Northern Soul world, the last example on E Bay sold for 2K but in better condition than this.
The record on offer has a lot of surface wear and some marks hence the G grade, this is NOT a VG or Mint example.
Side 1 >> As Long As There Is You >> This side has much surface wear / and a couple of surface scores, the record has its original gloss so graded G / Good condition.
Side 2 >> It`ll Never Be Over For Me >> This side is in better shape the the other side. This side has surface wear / light marks but still has its original gloss. This side is graded G+ condition.
The disc plays without jumps or repeats, it does have some distortion. The disc plays better with the stylus arm tracking set with a bit of weight. I have tested this 45 on 3 different players.
If you are fussy or in need of a top example this is NOT for you. A top example will cost a far higher price.
The labels are both ok, they do have 2 small names added in pen otherwise they are nice.
The correct Liberty cover is VG condition with a pen mark on 1 side.
As stated this is NOT for a fussy person as it if far from perfect, this is one of the most wanted and rarest UK pressed Northern Soul 45`s to locate as I am sure you will know.
This is 100% an original UK 1st pressing from 1969.
