Here for auction is an original UK edition of SXL 2172 with Pierre Monteux,the LSO and Julius Katchen playing the Brahms Piano Concerto No 1.It is an ED1 with "original recording by" grooved label's.

Matrices are Side 1. ZAL - 4563 -1D        Side 2.  ZAL - 4564 - 2D

Vinyl is in fine NM condition.....Apart from a couple of extremely light paper marks the disc is beautifully clean.....Has been superbly cared for......It lies flat on the turntable and sounds fantastic.No crackle or distortion......Just like it has just been bought from the shop in 1961.Beautiful vinyl in close to top conditon.....Satisfaction guaranteed

Cover/sleeve is in EX+ condition.Still brilliantly crisp/clean.The cover is not too far from looking like new......Not many better than this.Exceptional./////.Label's are EX+.Have virtually zero spindle marks near the holes,even when viewed closely.

Comes with original inner sleeve in excellent condition.
