Description
I am not a record dealer or record shop, I am having, through necessity to sell my
vinyl collection and books.
I collected a small amount of Death Metal albums, this one is by Morbid Angel a band
originally from Carolina but now based in Florida I believe. Many will know me from
selling Iron Maiden material, please note that this is unlike Iron Maiden as this
is typically Death Metal, I would suggest you check the band out on youtube if you
are considering bidding.
This auction is for the original 1993 release of the album Covenant. It was released
on the Earache label, under the catalogue number MOSH 81.
It is NOT one of the recently re-released variants of the album, it is the original
version which normally attracts extremely high prices.
If you have not seen the band live I would strongly encourage you to do so. The bands
videos of this and other tracks from them on youtube are well worth watching.
The guitar playing has its own very distinctive and complex style and the drumming
is typically intense.
This album would suit a serious collector rather than an occasional listener. The
vinyl and sleave are in excellent condition as I also bought this album on audio
cassette.
