This demo history : Morbid Angel was formed in 1983 by original members Trey Azagthoth, Mike Browning, and Dallas Ward. For some time it was an instrumental band until bass player Dallas Ward began singing, but they wanted a front man so the search was on. Several singers were auditioned, and this demo, recorded in 1985, had local metal vocalist Kenny Bamber and Dallas sharing vocals. Kenny's style did not fit the band so Dallas continued singing. Before Dallas left the band, Richard Brunelle joined the lineup on guitar and also did some vocals at some live shows. After Dallas' departure, Mike Browning took over lead vocals and the classic "Abominations Of Desolation" was recorded in 1986. The rest is Morbid history......
