The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

Morrissey - 'Education In Reverse' Incorrectly-Titled Australian LP - 1988

The Australian pressing of 'Viva Hate' in 1988 was mistakenly given the wrong title in the initial pressing due to a misunderstanding regarding the "EDUCATION IN REVERSE" etching which appears on the run-out groove of the UK pressing and which was incorrectly assumed to be the title of the album. The mis-titled copies were then apparently recalled and replaced with correctly-titled versions. The erroneous title appears both on the front of the LP sleeve (in red letters, see photo) and on the record labels making this a curious and highly sought-after Morrissey collectable. An interesting and relatively-rare item which does not often appear for sale.The vinyl and labels are in strong excellent condition, with the record having seen very little play and having only the occasional light surface mark on the highly-glossy vinyl. The original lyric inner sleeve is also present and in excellent condition, with no splittling but light wear only. The rare outer sleeve is in very good condition, and would be much better but for the fact that a previous owner has lightly written the word "Soma" in ball point pen on the reverse towards the top of the sleeve (see photo for close-up). Thankfully this does not dominate the appearance of the back of the sleeve and is fairly light in appearance against the blue background. Other than this, there is some mild-to-moderate corner wear in places but no seam-splitting or other damage. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
