The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

Morrissey - 'You Are The Quarry' US Vinyl LP - 2004

This is an extremely rare opportunity to obtain an original first-press copy of the US vinyl release of Morrissey's 'You Are The Quarry' album from 2004. Despite its success, it was pressed in very limited numbers in the vinyl format. Only the US release and a counterpart release for the European market were issued on vinyl; this US release apparently being issued in even smaller numbers than the European equivalent. Almost all Morrissey LP pressings are becoming very collectable, particularly when released in limited numbers. This particular LP has become extremely highly sought-after by collectors in recent years, and is seen for sale relatively scarcely. This copy is even more unusual in that it is still sealed in its original packaging (see below), which significantly increases its rarity and value. It may be some time before another sealed copy of this LP is offered for sale, and its value seems certain to escalate in the future given the increase in demand for such original vinyl copies of Morrissey LPs in recent years. As in the case of all of my auctions, I will accept returns and give refunds on items if you believe that I have described anything incorrectly.The record itself is in new and fully mint condition, being still sealed in its original packaging and therefore never handled. The outer gatefold sleeve is in near mint condition below the original cellophane packaging; there are no creases or writing on the outer packaging. The only imperfections are a very minor impression on the reverse of the sleeve due to the record inside, and some mild to moderate corner 'bumping' in a few places. There are no rips or breaks in the outer cellophane. A superb example of this collectable rarity. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
