Description
This is the US pressing of Morrissey's Maladjusted album on vinyl LP - it's the Mercury label pressing with extra track "Sorrow will come in the end" - the track left off of the U.K. Island records pressing.
I purchased this new in on the morning it was released in 1997 at the Tower Records in Denver, Colorado (I even waited in line to get into the store) - back when Tower was still in business and sold vinyl.
The vinyl has ALWAYS been stored in a separate plastic lined paper sleeve outside of the lyric sleeve and outer LP picture sleeve. I have ALWAYS kept the album in a resealable Japanese plastic sleeve.
When I purchased the record I carefully peeled off the green and white advertising sticker from the original wrapping and stuck it on the back of the album (see photos of the back of the album).
The outer picture sleeve is in near mint condition with no rips, stains, or tears. There are a couple of small imperfections from being on the shelf since 1997. The picture sleeve is shiny and attractive. Morrissey stares at you, wondering why he agreed to this photo shoot. The vinyl has been played at most once a year. It is clean and has no scratches or marks on either side. Both vinyl labels are shiny and clean. This is very nice heavy weight vinyl - not the flimsy stuff!
The inner lyric sleeve has not been used to store the vinyl, as noted. It is in excellent condition. My favorite part is the quote "on this glorious occasion, of the splendid defeat" by Anthony Newley.
I ship all vinyl in a new cardboard mailer with extra cardboard stiffeners, with the vinyl stored safely outside the picture sleeve. If this auction goes over $100 the package will include insurance. I ship media mail with tracking and delivery confirmation, which typically takes 4-5 days. If you'd like priority mail, I'm happy to do this if you pay the extra couple of dollars. I ship within 24 hours of payment.
*I will ship internationally, though prices for shipment are considerably high. Please ask for a shipping quote before bidding if you're outside of the US.
