Island Records/Mercury Records (1997 pressing) RARE AND COLLECTABLE !
Vinyl play tested, and it plays very, very well. Vinyl is very clean and very shiny. There are several surface marks from playback on both sides of the vinyl, but these do not affect play. Most notably, what appears to be a "scuff line" along side 2 (please see last pic above) However, this does not make any noise when playing, and could even be something that occurred at the pressing stage, as opposed to happening as the result of playback. So, please don't let this put you off. The LP has been played quite a few times over the years, but it is in very good condition, with very nice sound and minimal surface noise...in fact, hardly any (even on the quieter moments)
Outer sleeve in very good condition. It has suffered a bit of general wear over the years, mostly from storage. Nothing serious, though. Edge wear along top is quite light, with one small area that has been scuffed (see pic above) Edge wear along bottom is virtually non-existent. Corner wear on bottom right corner front cover, visible slightly bottom left back cover. Small amount of creasing on spine, but hardly worth bothering about. A few light marks here and there. In general, a very good outer sleeve, with just a few signs of relatively minimal wear.
This LP will be shipped to the winning bidder in a protective PVC cover, to maintain the current outer sleeve condition
Card inner sleeve with lyrics in excellent condition. No splits, only a couple of very, very minor marks....really nice condition.
So, to sum up....very good, ultra clean condition vinyl that has been played a few times, with several surface marks, and one long mark on side 2 that does not affect playback. Very good outer sleeve with a few relatively minor areas of storage wear, and excellent condition inner sleeve.
Wonderful addition to any Morrissey vinyl collection...and highly collectable too !
