Description
The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.
I accept returns and offer a full refund if you are not happy with your purchase.
Morrissey - 'Piccadilly Palare' Promotional Retro 7" - 1990
Catalogue No. POPDJ 1624 - HMV Records
This single was promoted in the UK by a visually striking 'retro' style 7", whose sleeve and labels recalled the early HMV artwork of the 50s and 60s, being the first of five consecutive Morrissey single releases to be promoted in a similar manner in the 7" format. This record makes for a very nice collectable and is not seen offered for sale very often. What is more the conditon is terrific (see below), with none of the typical 'seam splitting' which can happen with a delicate paper outer sleeve of this nature. The vinyl and labels are in strong excellent condition, with only very light superficial surface marks in a couple of places but generally being unmarked and retaining its original glossy 'sheen'. The very nice outer sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, with just the lightest of 'rippling' and one very faint and minor crease in one place. There is a small region of a slight 'darkening' in one place on the reverse which looks as though the paper sleeve has been lightly 'scuffed'. Despite being a very thin paper sleeve, there are no tears and no seam splits with the record having been stored outside of its delicate sleeve. Please see the accompanying photos; note that the Ebay ID lettering is just on the pictures and not the item itself.
All my auctions start at 1P and have NO RESERVE. They are all 100% genuine, original versions. Some are in mint/new condition and some are used; all will go to the highest bidder. I offer a money-back guarantee if anything is described incorrectly. Postage and Packing is free in the UK for untracked and uninsured standard postage, but please consider paying the 1.00 surcharge for tracked postage since there is, of course, nothing that can be done to find out what happened if the parcel is lost when standard postage is chosen. Shipping costs are greater for overseas buyers, but still good value; please check prices by using the options above or feel free to ask. I always take great care to package items well.See my other auctions for related rare items here. If multiple auctions are won at the same time, I will charge only the postage cost for the heaviest item and pay the remainder myself. This is the case wherever you live.
