The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

As with many of the original Morrissey vinyl LPs, the first UK pressing of 'Your Arsenal' from 1992 has become highly sought after on vinyl owing to the relatively small numbers pressed in comparison to the CD counterpart. Collectors buying up such original copies, wishing to hear the albums in their original intended state, have served to create a scarcity of these LPs on the market in recent times. By 1992, the popularity of vinyl was heavily in decline and consequently this LP is a relatively uncommon find. Highly rated as one of Morrissey's finest solo albums by many, this is an extremely nice collectable whose value in this original vinyl format seems set to increase. This example is particularly rare in that the record has been preserved in remarkable condition (see below), as indeed has the outer sleeve which still has its original shrink-wrap which has been opened to allow access to the record inside. The original gold-coloured inner sleeve which is often missing, which features an image of Charlie Richardson, is also present and intact.The record and labels are in near mint condition, having been played but looked after extremely well with no discernable surface marks on the highly-glossy vinyl other than 'hairline' superficial surface marks which are only visible when held to the light. The HMV labels are very clean in appearance. The superb original gold-coloured sleeve is present and intact, with no creases, marks or seam-splitting; the record having been stored outside of its sleeve for much of its life. The outer sleeve is also in near mint condition, having been protected by its still-present original shrink-wrap which has been opened at the mouth of the sleeve (see photos). The only signs of wear on the outer sleeve is some mild-to-moderate 'corner wear' at the mouth of the sleeve; all other corners and edges are sharp and covered by the shrink-wrap. No 'ringwear' is apparent, and there is no writing and no signs of other marks anywhere. It would be difficult to find a better example of this 1992 first-pressing UK LP today. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
