Description
You are bidding on an out of print Mosaic Box Set: The Complete Blue Note Recordings of Andrew Hill (1963-66) on virgin vinyl. This is a 10-record set with informative 12-page booklet. Everything is in mint condition, except the two bottom corners of the box have split apart--which is quite minor. These are excellent recordings featuring pianist Hill with such modern jazz luminaries as Roy Haynes, Eric Dolphy, Sam Rivers, Joe Henderson, Richard Davis, Freddie ZHubbard, Elvin Jones, etc. They are arguably the very best recordings he ever made. As with all Limited Edition Mosaic sets, they will not be reprinted once the run is depleted, as has been the case with this set for several years.
