Description
Released in 1967 on Verve Records SVLP 9199 in a laminated gatefold sleeve, the inside of which is a direct nod to the Beatles' Sgt Pepper album released that year. Condition of vinyl and cover is EX+, the vinyl being very clean, fresh and having a good shine to both playing surfaces. The labels are also clean, not defaced, and bear only light spindle traces. Matrix numbers are V6 5045 A 1 and V6 5045 B 1. Plain white inner bag has a sticker attached which has probaly been that of a previous stockist, it is othrwise very clean and undamaged. The laminated gatefold is clean and fresh too, not showing its 44 year vintage other than a narrow strip on the flip top that has lost its top surface, nothing at all to worry about. All joints, seams, the spine and edges are fine though the aperture does show a strip of fading. again very minor, there is very light ring wear to both sides but there are no splits, tears, or lifting of the laminate. A really nice clean copy. Tracks: ARE YOU HUNG UP - WHO NEED THE PEACE CORPS - CONCENTRATION MOON - MOM & DAD - BOW TIE DADDY - HARRY YOU'RE A BEAST - WHAT'S THE UGLIEST PART OF YOU BODY - ABSOLUTELY FREE - FLOWER PUNK - HOT POOP - NASAL RETENTIVE CALIOPE MUSIC - LETS MAKE TH E WATER TURN BLACK - THE IDIOT BASTARD SON - LONELY LITTLE GIRL - TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF WHEN YOU DANCE - WHATS THE UGLIEST PART OF YOUR BODY (Reprise) - MOTHER PEOPLE - THE CHROME PLATED MEGAPHONE OF DESTINY.
