This is it!! The Holy Grail for Zappa fans!  And it's a great gift for any Zappa fan, because it's almost guaranteed to appreciate in value over the years!
Wikipedia, in its article "Freak Out" describes it: (my bold & red added) 
"Freak Out! is the debut album by American band The Mothers of Invention, released June 27, 1966 on Verve Records. Often cited as one of rock music's first concept albums, the album is a satirical expression of frontman Frank Zappa's perception of American pop culture. It was also one of the earliest double albums in rock music (although Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde preceded it by a week), and the first 2-record debut."
What I'm selling, and what is shown in the pictures above, is an original, two LP Vinyl Gatefold 1966 release by Verve (Number V6-5005-2 w/Blue Label). 

• The cover is EX+ with minor rubs, spine wear, but NO edge breaks. (See pictures.)
• The sleeves/dust covers are original... strong and solid (NM?), with a couple of wrinkles from stacking. (See pictures.)
• LPs are both original Verve blue labels... rare. Condition is VG+.  (They are shiny with light, but visible, scratches. You can't "feel" the scratches with fingertips. While the LPs are playing, I am not able to hear the scratches directly because they don't produce any sort of repetitive, audible pattern. And they definitely do not produce any "skips" during playing.)  

Here's what Rolling Stone said when it listed this album among "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time:"  (my bold & red added) 
"Master guitarist and provocateur, Frank Zappa made more than sixty albums, but the first was perhaps the most groundbreaking. The double-disc Freak Out! declares the arrival of a visionary weirdo who dabbles in doo-wop, pop-song parody, protest tunes, art rock and avant-garde classical."  (I can't post URLs here due to eBay rules: Search Google to find the article.)
