Description

Wow! Good luck finding one of these that's still in it's original shrinkwrap! This is one of the first pressings of the infamous Motley Crue's Too Fast For Love. Obviously, the vinyl is mint, as it's never been played. This has not been rewrapped! I received this record many years ago from a family friend who was married to Motley Crue's first manager. This LP came from his office among many other Crue goodies. I left it untouched and it's been sitting in a box ever since. Now it's time for a diehard Crue fan to own it! As you can see in the pictures, this copy doesn't have the sunglasses in the middle of the back cover like later pressings, and Vince Neil's hair hasn't been erased to a reasonable size! Dang, that dude had a serious hair helmet! The copywright on the back says 1981 Leathur Records. This is not a reissue, this is the real deal. If you want a piece of history in perfect condition, you've just found it.

After doing a little looking around, I believe this is a genuine FIRST pressing. It meets all the external criteria. I can't vouch for the serial numbers on the vinyl , the insert photo, or the vinyl label color since it's never been opened, but based on the album cover and where I got it, all signs point to #1.

Side #1 and 2 song titles ARE BOTH listed on the backcover, unlike the bootleg pressing.

LEATHUR RECORDS FIRST PRESS

- December 1981.
- Approximately 900 copies made.
- Band name and title is written in white on the front cover.
- The record label is white with black lettering.
- Vince has big weird looking hair on back of the cover and on the insert photo.
- No sunglasses on the back cover.
- Nikki's arms are crossed at his chest on the insert photo.
