This listing is for a rare and sought after original limited edition gold coloured pressing of the Rock classic album Ace Of Spades.  I cannot find how many of these were pressed but there are not any for sale currently so act fast.  This pressing has been bootlegged and re-issued but rest assured this is the 1980 original.

All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players.  Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG Difficult to accurately grade light coloured vinyls so please bear this in mind.  Under a bright light on Side 1 there are what appears to be even scuffs in between the tracks.  It is possible a pressing defect as they are perfectly spherical, but does not appear to affect play.  There are a handful of light scratches on both sides, one long one on Side 2.  They only appear to be on the surface gloss and are not deep enough to affect play.  The labels are superb and clean with only light spindle marks under a bright light.
Record Audio - VG A difficult one to grade the audio here.  There is no crackle or usual surface noise but the groove is very noisy, and this would have been a result of the manufacture process not a fault, so should not affect the grading really.  Also the audio quality is below average with very little bottom end, and on my system at least seems to struggle with the left hand channel.  It is possible that there is a build up of dirt or debris in the grooves and a machine clean may restore the audio but I cannot guarantee it.  Personally I would treat this like a picture disc, something to enjoy the physical and tactile properties rather than a record to listen to.
Record Sleeve - VG Overall not bad condition for nearly 40 years old (eek).  The edges and spine have some shelf wear which is exaggerated due to the black edge colour and the poor quality card used, the titles are not really legible, group name only at a push.  There is some ring wear visible when under a bright light along with a couple of indentations.  On the rear under a bright light there is quite a lot of writing indentations, why people would use the sleeve of a limited edition record to write on lord only knows.  Otherwise there are no pen marks and the colours are nice and bright, so within a dust cover looks great to be honest.  The original white inner sleeve is present along with a new one to store the record and an anti static polythene liner.
