I do not grade on visual as experience has taught me that some really surface marked discs play really well and conversely a bright sheen has played poorly. I use audible grading only. It’s what’s in the groove that counts. I have purchased many records graded mint that were at best only very good.

Excellent means it plays well without noise in play a little intro crackle possible

( + )  means its better but not mint very little if any intro crackle

( – ) means below excellent but better than very good)

Very Good means there will be intro crackle some light surface noise in the background but no jumps or skips.

(+) means its better

( – ) means you will  intro crackle light surface noise maybe the odd click but no jumps or skips.

Good means surface crackles intro crackle and background noise and odd click but no jumps or skips.
