Description

Again from my own collection, a quite rare bootleg LP of Mott The Hoople's 1st American tour entitled Behind Enemy Lines in 1977. This was distributed in a plain cardboard sleeve with a yellow single sheet with pen drawing identifying the band & track listing & credits. Considering it's construction the sleeve is in pretty good shape, with no rips, tears, stains or writing.
The record is on yellow & black labels marked "Amazing Kornyphone" & "TAKRL", with only 1 or 2 light spindle marks. Vinyl is a nice glossy black, better than most bootlegs I have seen, & the same must be said of the recording, I have heard a lot worse. Yes, there is some background noise evident, but the quality is easily good enough to really enjoy the LP. I played it to grade it after not hearing it for maybe 10 years & I have to say I really enjoyed it, much better than I remembered. There is the odd bit of crackle on quiet parts, but there are no jumps, skips, pops or clicks at all.
All things considered I grade this LP as Ex.
I have always kept my records clean, but before I sell them I always clean them with my VPI RCM & put the record in a new anti-static inner sleeve, & the cover in a new cover also.
I always insure my items for their full value & do not make any money on postage.
Collection from BH22 near Bournemouth is also welcomed.
Thanks for looking, happy bidding, & please check out my other items.
I am sorry but I do not post overseas.
