Mount Eerie Pts. 6&7 (hardcover photography book and 10" record). Edition of 2,000 copies. The corners of the book are dinged, but everything's in great shape overall. New, still sealed. Please see photos. 

Official description:

The photos were taken all on traditional film. Most of them are on expired 800 speed 35mm color print film with an antique half frame camera. (A Mercury Univex II, to be exact, which was apparently made from surplus 16mm movie camera parts during the depression. The shutter is a spinning disc.) Some other photos are taken with a 35mm full frame Leica dbp rangefinder similar to some of these. Then there are some taken on 120 print and slide film with a very old Kodak No. 2 folding cartridge Premo that looks like this and doesn’t really focus. The prints used in the book are almost all the ones that got automatically run through the machines when the film was sent off to the plant.

The photos were scanned and laid out and midwifed with the incomparable Aaron Flint Jamison in February & March of 2007 here in Anacortes and a little in Portland. The book is much his. He is the reason for the amazing awful dust jacket and other conceptual braveries like “no words”. (His dad suggested this web page.) Flint can be found now editing Veneer Magazine and elsewhere.

It was printed at Hemlock Printers in Burnaby, BC, Canada in May and June of 2007 and delivered back to Anacortes for record stuffing and dustjacketing. (We letterpressed those here because it was a last minute call.)

Below is an attempt to remember the places and times of the photos. Some of them will be wrong. Whatever. It is not a documentary book about all the exotic places I’ve been. It’s not even a narrative myth story. It’s an arrangement of colors and shapes that are intended to get at this idea of “Mount Eerie” I keep excavating.?

For example, books, records, and tapes are all media mail, but clothing is not, so if you buy two records and one shirt, I won't be able to package the items together. RETURNS: I do my best to list any item defects in my product description, therefore, I fully stand behind my merchandise and accept returns on most items. Complete buyer satisfaction is very important to me. In all cases, the buyer is responsible for paying the return shipping, and the item must be sent back in the exact same condition as which is was received, packaging fully intact. The return will not be honored if the item is returned to me in worse condition than it was received. I deduct a 10% restocking fee on returns resulting from anything that is not an oversight on my part, such as buyer's remorse or failing to read the item description. Every now and then, I'll sell something "as-is", in which case the return policy will be clearly stated in the description. In most cases, though, returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. I just ask that you notify me of any issues before you send the item back. 

A few notes on the condition of vinyl records:I generally don't grade any items mint, since records and packaging sometimes have minor cosmetic flaws that one can't see if the shrink wrap is still sealed. However, I do my best to mention any visible flaws in the item description, and I'm usually very thorough. I'm happy to give more details on, or send photos of, any item upon request, so please feel free to ask. Please be aware that I don't guarantee sound quality or anything that could be considered a common quirk of vinyl production, as I don't have any control over the manufacturing process. Some pressings are noisier than others, and sometimes a record will have a slight wobble or some other imperfection. Some pressings are better than others, and that's just the nature of vinyl. If something is clearly damaged, though, that's a different story, in which case, I'm willing to accept a return. Also, I'm happy to open the shrink wrap and ship any record outside of the sleeve to prevent sleeve splits. If you don't state a preference, I'll assume you prefer the record remain sealed, in which case I'm not to be held responsible for any splitting that may occur. Thanks for understanding!
