I’m grading this album on the conservative side as a listener. The album is rated VG+ due to several visible and audible surface scratches which are mostly on Side 1. The record doesn’t look abused, but not perfect either. There are no excessively deep scratches, and the record played through fine for me without skipping. I didn’t feel the ticks and pops were too distracting from the lovely performance. There are spindle scratches on both sides.
The cover is VG++. I’m a little split on rating this cover, and might give it a VG+ if not such a rare album. Tight with good sheen. There are no seam splits, but the spine is wearing away, about 1 ½ inch in center, and could give out if abused. I’ll of course ship the album outside the cover. There is some visible edge wear where the orange has rubbed off.
