"First Label" Blue/Silver
Box - The front surface is in very good condition. The interior has a mottled effect over approximately half the surface due to past storage in a damp environment. There is some rubbing away on the one corner and inner surface of the box and the side 2 uplapping corners are split.
Records - The vinyl appears to be very good with no visible scratches. There is spindle wear so the records have been played.
The records do need to be cleaned. The storage issues have led to some filming and discolouration but I am certain that cleaning will restore them to a very high standard.
Information Sheet - This lists the performers and the record contents. It is in good condition but suffers from mottling.
Libretto This is A5 size with 80 pages. It is the recommended accompaniment to the opera on the information sheet. It is in very good condition but suffers slight discolouration at the extreme edges of the pages due again to its storage.
I am primarily a rock music collector although I have a substantial classical music collection. I take care of my records (some 10,000). They are stored upright in plastic sleeves or in records cases. Many of the records that I will be selling over the coming months I have had from new (or a member of my immediate family has).
This particular record set was owned from new by an uncle.
I am an honest seller my reputation is extremely important to me. I try to grade records as fairly as possible I will point out any flaws and perhaps I will be over zealous in this respect. You should hopefully then be very happy with your purchase but if there are any after sale issues please do not hesitate to contact me.
