On this rare record, Marie McLaughlin, Maria Ewing, Jerry Hadley and Cornelius Hauptmann with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra conducted by Leonard Bernstein perform the Mozart “Requiem”. A German stereo pressing on the Deutche Grammophon label (427 353-1), the record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover, part from a slight bend at the bottom left-hand corner, is excellent.
