                          Mozart The Complete Piano Concertos Barenboim ECO HMV SLS 5031 12 LP Box Set c.1979
This complete cycle of classical piano and orchestra concertos comprises twenty seven compositions written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart between 1767 (K.37, Salzburg) and 1791 (K.595, Vienna). The virtuoso showpieces were recorded in 1967-1975 by Daniel Barenboim in collaboration with the English Chamber Orchestra which was conducted from the keyboard.

This stereo twelve record set SLS 5031 was reissued in UK c. 1979. The red label features a boxed black-and-white His Master's Voice logo underneath a copyright perimeter notice, a boxed white on red EMI logo below the credits, and a border white ring. A record number, STEREO, matrix number, speed, phonographic copyright ℗, publishing company and side number are placed on the left side of a spindle hole, and a side number and record code - on the right side.
A twelve page booklet contains critical reviews of each concerto written by musicologist Robin Mavesyn Golding (1928-2009), and biographical details of Daniel Barenboim. The narrative is accompanied with text illustrations and photographs.
                                                                                                                Condition
A condition of the records is Near Mint (NM or M-) except for very few light scratches noticeable only at a certain angle on Side 2 of Record 5, Sides 1 and 2 of Record 7, and Side 2 of Record 11. All vinyls retain their original gloss. The label on Side 1, Record 9, has a slight manufacturing imperfection to a top edge. Inner sleeves are original. The condition of a box is Very Good Plus (VG+) due to a minor shelf wear. A condition is graded by visual inspection and in accordance with Goldmine® Grading Guide.
