Stop! This is not mint.
Thanks for looking at this listing. For the purposes of my sales descriptions, and to avoid negative feedback, consider all discs to be very good+/-. Some will play/sound better than this. None will be mint.
I sell to fund my own passion for Beatles records and thus these will not be top copies, usually sold on as upgrades have been found. They will rarely come with original sleeves.
If it's trashed I will say so!
Discs will be free from significant warps, and will sit flat on the turntable unless stated.. Labels will be free from graffiti/stickers/sticker residue unless stated.
Records have been play tested and will be free from jumps/sticks unless otherwise stated. Records have been cleaned whilst playing with a brush arm, but will usually benefit from further cleaning.
Up for grabs today:
Mr Fantasy/Traffic(Steve Winwood). This is a scarce original first pressing Mono on the Pink Island label. This is a record with many marks. I casually listened the other day and noted that the record played without skips or sticks. However, there are noticeable clicks on at least one track and light noise which is particularly noticeable between tracks (it didn't particularly intrude during the tracks). Having said that, it still provides an enjoyable listen. This is priced to sell. I note that a mint copy sold for £750 and that similar condition lps are priced £40-130. LP cautiously graded good +/-
The labels are clean, free from graffiti, stickers etc.
The sleeve is also free from graffiti, stickers etc. But the spine is slightly damaged.(see pics). I'm no expert when it comes to Traffic. However, this sleeve is constructed exactly the same as original Beatles for sale covers, and my experience with them is that they are frequently torn and entirely missing the gatefold. Thus a small (approx 1cm) tear would be of little concern. The sleeve is otherwise very good. The spine is perfectly readable (see pic)
So, more than just a filler. Perhaps an opportunity to upgrade a sleeve? An ideal opportunity to get this rare lp without breaking the bank.
