Mtume Umoja Ensemble — Alkebu-Lan: Land Of The Blacks (1972, Strata-East SES 1972-4) 2×LP — ORIGINAL US pressing


Live at The East, Brooklyn (Aug 29, 1971). Iconic spiritual / free-jazz record with Gary Bartz, Carlos Garnett, Leroy Jenkins, Stanley Cowell, Buster Williams, Billy Hart + vocals/poetry. Over 80 minutes of Afro-centric, avant-garde jazz:

Condition: Vinyl discs appear clean and shiny — play through without skipping, minimal surface noise. Gatefold jacket intact; minor ring wear / light edge scuff (see photos). Labels clean; no writing or stickers. Both discs present.

A rare & collectible artifact from the golden era of 1970s free/spiritual jazz. A must for Strata-East and spiritual jazz collectors.
