Description

This is the original and very rare US mono pressing of Muddy Waters "More Real Folk Blues". Released in 1966, this appears to be a first issue in Excellent + condition.  There is no known stereo version of this album other than the "electronically simulated" variety.  This is the best there is.

The vinyl shows almost no evidence of play save for a few very small and scattered water residue spots.  In normal light the record appears near mint to mint.    Other than this, the vinyl appears to have full new gloss and prinstine labels.  There are no surface scratches, marks, sleeve marks or other signs of use. The side two label does have a small  indentation next to the spindle hole.  This is original to the label and not from use.

The stamper numbers are:

Side 1:  TRVM 9654-1B
Side 2:  TRVM 9655-1B

The heavy jacket is in solid crisp condition with no seam splits, bullet holes or cutouts.  There is an abrasion on the bottom left seam.  The jacket has typical light shelf wear.  The photos tell the story, although the whites are a bit brighter in person..  Original and crisp sleeve.

I'll be shipping double boxed with a new white LP mailer with extra cardboard, appropriate padding for the thickness of the record and packed tight on the interior.  The vinyl will be outside the sleeves and inside the a new audiophile approved outer sleeve.

Look for my other items from this same collection this week.  They are all as outstanding as this one.

I grade records visually.  I no longer have a vinyl rig so I do not pay them before hand. If it is from my original collection and I have played it before, I will note my recollections.
