Description

Hello record collectors and vinyl junkies, I'm in the process of selling off the majority of my record collection to finance the ongoing restoration of a classic car...hopefully without going bankrupt! So please check back often, as I'll be listing hundreds of LPs over the next few months.

Anyway, let's continue with this one by Muhammad Ali Ali and His Gang Vs. Mr. Tooth Decay released by St Johns Fruit & Vegetable Produce Co of Beverly Hills in 1976 (Stereophonic)

Completely insane album tells the story of Muhammad Ali fighting his arch villain Mr. Tooth Decay. The Champ is joined on this recording by Frank Sinatra, Richie Havens, Jayne Kennedy, Ossie Davis and Arthur Morrison. The record is narrated by everyone's favorite broadcaster Howard Cosell.

The LP opens with a theme song and then goes into the story...Mr Tooth Decay has what is probably supposed to be a Cuban accent...because we all know that Tooth Decay and Communist Dictators go hand in hand! My favorite part may be that the upper right corner of the cover states that this Volume 1. Fortunately for the world, a Volume 2 never materialized!

This copy is still sealed...and still retains its original Woolworths price tag on the shrink wrap.

If this one caught your eye, be sure to check my other listing this week for many more weird, strange and crazy vinyl gems...you won't be disappointed!

The LP is still sealed - untouched and unplayed. Cover has no seam splits, cut out marks, writing, rips, tears or other issues.

I grade on a stricter scale than Goldmine (at least the watered down version that seems to exist here on eBay) I will take the time to describe any flaws on both the cover and record itself rather than give a letter grade that will mean something different to seemingly every record buyer and seller.

Sorry if the photos above appear washed out...this is caused by the camera flash...the colors are brighter and bolder in person.

Please feel free to email with any questions but keep in mind that unless there is a "Buy It Now" price listed above, I will not respond to any questions or offers to end an auction early...Thanks for your understanding!

The fine print:

Payment is due within three days after end of the auction. I only accept payment through Paypal - if you do not have a Paypal account, please email me BEFORE bidding to inquire about alternative payment methods.

Due to overwhelming requests, I generally ship domestic packages by Media Mail. However, please keep in mind that while Media Mail is the cheapest shipping method, it is also the slowest. Media Mail can take several weeks or MORE to arrive. Media Mail shipping within the United States is $4.00 including mandatory Delivery Confirmation.

I do combine shipping for multiple purchases. The $4.00 covers between one and two albums. Additional albums (three and up) are an additional .50 cents each. Please wait for an invoice from me as the Paypal system does not calculate the combined shipping.

Overseas shipping is by Air Mail only. Shipping for one LP to Canada is $15.50 and everywhere else in the world is $23.00. Overseas shipping is by regular air mail and can take anywhere from one to four weeks to arrive. I do combine shipping on overseas purchases - I will send an invoice with the combined shipping cost if you purchase more than one LP.

Sorry I no longer ship to Italy or the Russian Federation due to the high number of "lost" packages.

All records are mailed in cardboard record mailers with cardboard inserts to prevent damage. LP will be removed from the cover to prevent seam splits while in transit.

Thanks for looking and good luck!
