Description

1972 National Geographic #703 Stereo- "Music Of The Ozarks"

This bluegrass music was produced by the National Geographic Society and was performed mainly by amateurs, although Jimmie Driftwood is featured on a few of the songs. All songs are great except maybe two. "Arkansas Traveler" was recorded at a dance and the foot-stomping makes you feel you're right there.

Record VG+  (faint ticks heard on two cuts due to hairline scratch- rest of record looks M-)

Gatefold cover and 10 page color insert  VG++

I will, upon request, supply the auction winner with an uncompressed ANALOG to DIGITAL archive transcription CD of this record for an additional fee of $10.00. This will be shipped with the record.

The CD fidelity is excellent, and closely matches that of the original vinyl recording. The benefit is that clicks and ticks are digitally removed resulting in a terrific audio experience that, even though you a listening to a CD you still get that “vinyl”sound while preserving your record.
