It features a very interesting cast of players, among them, Zoot Sims, Tyree Glenn, Milt Hinton and Buddy Jones. Lawrence had carte blanche in terms of expressing his dynamic musical ideas, resulting in a free-spirited, unbuttoned-down mood interpreted with both vigor and polish.
