A real treasure from my personal collection. Recorded at Alaska Studios, December 1986 and produced by My Bloody Valentine, this copy has hand scratched messages on the run-off next to the catalogue number: 'A Porky Prime Cut' on Side A and 'No Messages Nosey!' on Side B.
Released in February 1987, it reached no.6 in the UK indie charts.
Vinyl:
I have play-graded (extremely loudly!) and would describe the audio quality as Mint and the visual quality of the vinyl as Excellent +. I have played both sides through and they play extremely cleanly. A couple of very faint surface traces evident beneath a light are superficial and do not detract from the sound in any way. This is a very honest appraisal – I would not describe a record as Mint or Near Mint etc. if it was unwarranted! Please see the gradings I use below.
Record Sleeve:
Sleeve is in Excellent+ condition as can be seen in the photos above.
GRADINGS
* MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
* EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
* VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
* VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
