My Bloody Valentine - The New Record By My Bloody Valentine 12" EP on the (obscure) Kaleidoscope of Sound label

This rare 1986 EP marks the beginning of a transition between the band's earlier post-punk/rockabilly roots, replacing this in many places with a wash of white noise similar to their contemporaries The Jesus and Mary Chain. The lyrically content is also more whimsical, a sign of later things and the strengthening influence perhaps of Kevin Shields on the shape of their sound.

Sleeve has some very minor flattening near the spine but this is barely noticeable and is otherwise in impeccable condition, as is the vinyl, with just some light surface marks marking it down from Mint.
