Description
Bizarre and impossibly obscure experimental art record, one of a pair, both of which are listed here. There is absolutely no identifying here (on jacket, label or dead wax) to indicate the artist, label or anything else, although news clippings in the covers suggest Toronto circa 1970. A friend's listening notes follow:
I just listed to all 4 sides and I’m thinking these things may have come out of Rochdale College. They are far out enough and the subject matter and timing all fit. There was a recording studio there, a printing press (the original Coach House Press) and all manner of workshops/courses etc. The linear cut and paste style (no overdubs or complex mixing) and artwork/packaging could easily be something that could have come out of such a learn by doing/DIY/art and drug-fueled environment
