Description

Up for sale is a rare 2002 reissue of the highly sought-after 1975 private-press psychedelic funk and deep soul masterpiece, "Mind Over Matter," by The Mystic Minds (also credited as The Mysterious Minds). Masterminded by Bay Area keyboardist Tim S. Jones (who later recorded as T.J. Hustler), this album is famous in rare-groove circles for its heavy basslines, socially conscious lyrics, soaring vocals by Genie Tracy, and Jones's custom-built "Brass Orchestra Cabinet" synthesizer setup.

Limited to a tiny run of only 300 copies.

Vinyl Condition: Excellent (EX)

This record is in excellent condition. The vinyl retains a beautiful gloss and plays great.

Jacket Condition: Very Good (VG)
