N.U.N. "Soft Solution / Hard Solution" K7 tape privately issued by Ezio Albrile (no catalogue number) in Italy, 1982. Original handmade sleeve. ****** Tape:ex / Cov:ex ****** From Maurizio Bianchi archives, here come another essential piece of the early 1980s Italian underground electronic scene. N.U.N. issued only a private 7" in 1884, anticipated by the ultra rare tape offered here. Ezio Albrile's music is a sort of "electro-industrial" sound. Homemade compositions of unconventional synthetic noise, released with old reel-to-reel recording machines and anagogic equipment. The sound is very obsessive and it immediately reminds the music of Maurizio Bianchi (for many years N.U.N. was incorrectly considered a side project by M.B.). Very well manipulated linear noises manage to bring the listener to the limit of an hypnotic consciousness. The tribal sound effects stimulate the brain, exciting it in such a way that it generates micro-electrical charges. The music scene in Torino during the early 1980s was very intense. The main reference was the UK, but not only. Punk, new wave and electronic music were starting to enter the minds of the underground youth and experimental/industrial culture of this city was born. Among the most radical artists there was Ezio Albrile, a young extremist, today a well-known historian of ancient religions and expert of gnostic religion. Albrile was a member of the industrial/experimental project Psychopathic Blossom, an early band that released only some private tapes. At the age of twenty he started his own project called N.U.N. (Nacht Und Nebel), or the name given to political prisoners waiting to be executed in Germany during the second world war.
